Michael Johnson Biographical Information
Michael graduated from Texas A&M – Commerce in 1971 with a
B.S. in psychology, and received his M. S. from
Texas A&M Kingsville
in 1972. Michael earned his doctorate at Texas A&M
– Commerce in counseling in 1974.

Michael
has performed over 600 live stage shows in the past
ten years across America and Canada, and his
nationally syndicated magazine column, “Throwing
My Loop,” is read by thousands each month. His
stories of encouragement are heard on a number of
public and private radio affiliates throughout North
America, and he is the host of a weekly radio
broadcast titled “Reflections
of a Cowboy.”
Michael lives on a horse farm in Campbell, Texas
with his Australian Shepherd named Earnest
Shiner Johnson, two roping
horses named Shine and Joe Ben Black.
